I'm sold. I will probably get a R, I just have to find £3.5k to do the swap. I think it's a great move forward for the Street Triple, the dealer says they sell 9 RS vs 1 R if not even less Rs. Everyone is going for the RS because of the extra toys. For me the extra £1k might be a bit out of my reach.

Hello, I am interested in getting a 2018 street triple. Currently the dealer near me has a 2018 street triple S and a 2019 street triple RS. for the S version I can get it for 9K out the door and they will add a quick shifter. For the RS it will be closer to $14 after tax dealer fee etc.

Replacing the S and R models, the 2018 Speed Triple came in base S and top-spec RS guise and as well as a host of electrical updates also gained chassis and styling upgrades. Now replaced by the 2021 Speed Triple 1200 RS, this generation is the last of the old-school chilled-out 1050 motored bikes and you have to love them for that.
Some observations: The bike has completed 13600 km in this duration. It still feels tight and sublime. The suspension and brakes are as good as one can get. The 3 modes (Rain, Road and Sport) are actually different. The 'road' mode is the one which should be used in the city as it makes riding relatively less stressful.
